Point cloud processing for Windows
From point clouds to decisions.
Inspect, clean, register, measure, section, mesh and export large reality-capture datasets in one high-performance Windows workspace – without moving your data between disconnected tools.
Free, no licence needed – opens and inspects point clouds. Editing and export need a licence. You will be asked to sign in first so the download can be tied to your account.

Workflow
One workspace, start to deliverable
Six stages, all in the same application, with your source data left untouched throughout.
Import
LAS, LAZ, E57 and PLY, plus IFC models as reference geometry. Multi-scan E57 with its metadata and embedded images.
Clean
Statistical and dynamic outlier removal, cluster cleanup, smoothing and downsampling – each previewable before you commit.
Register
Align subsets to a fixed reference with a global search and multi-level refinement, reported with RMS, overlap and confidence.
Inspect
Distances, point-to-plane checks, angles, areas, volumes, detected planes and corner lines, grouped and named.
Section & mesh
Axis, oriented, box and cylindrical sections with generated linework, and open or closed surface reconstruction.
Export
Point clouds, layered DXF, GLB or OBJ meshes, measurement report PDFs and presentation imagery.
Capability
Six things it does that a viewer cannot
High-performance viewing
Navigate large point clouds fluidly with GPU-accelerated visualisation, chunk streaming, adaptive level of detail, orthographic views, X-ray mode, eye-dome lighting, ambient occlusion and professional render controls.
- Fast
- Balanced
- High Quality
- Ultra
Clean data with confidence
Remove noise with statistical and dynamic outlier removal, clear isolated clusters, smooth surfaces, or downsample by spacing, feature, voxel or target count. Preview supported operations before applying them.
- SOR
- DSOR
- Voxel
- Feature-aware
Register scans in one workspace
Align multiple subsets to a fixed reference with a coarse global search and multi-level refinement. Results are previewable, and reported per subset with RMS, overlap and confidence before anything is applied.

- Confidence
Measure what matters
Direct and projected distances, point-to-plane checks, three-point angles, polygon areas, convex-hull volumes, detected plane areas and corner lines. Organise results into groups and issue them as a PDF report.

Build CAD-ready sections
Cut axis-aligned, custom oriented, box and cylindrical sections. Extract the points, generate the linework, and export individual drawings or one merged DXF with a layer per section.

- Cylinder
- DXF layers
Turn scans into meshes
Generate open or closed surfaces at a target triangle edge length in millimetres, heal minor defects, patch eligible holes, simplify within a stated deviation limit, and export GLB or OBJ.

Visualisation
Eight ways to read the same cloud
A feature that disappears in colour often stands out in height, intensity or return number. Switch attribute, pull a histogram range in, and the geometry you are looking for separates itself from everything else.
- RGB, intensity, elevation ramp, elevation scalar, classification, return number and point spacing
- X-ray density view with level, gamma, curve and inversion controls
- Attribute histograms with range filtering and fine adjustment
- Brightness, contrast, exposure, gamma, saturation and colour temperature, all resettable
- Eye-dome lighting and ambient occlusion for shape you can actually read
Scale
Designed for very large projects
A 64-bit point-count architecture, out-of-core storage and GPU slicing, so project totals are not bounded by a single draw call or a 32-bit counter. Designed for very large and multi-billion-point project totals.
- Out-of-core project storage with chunk streaming from disk
- Octree spatial organisation with level-of-detail rendering
- Camera-aware chunk loading and view-frustum culling
- Screen-space density control to cut overdraw without losing coverage
- GPU memory budgeting, cache management and resource-pressure handling
- Large-coordinate support through rebased rendering
- Always-available preview representation for fast orientation in a project
- Four render profiles, plus a built-in benchmark to find your machine's setting
- Background processing with progress reporting and cancellation
- Configurable preview budget, sampling percentage and chunk-loading behaviour
Real capacity depends on your dataset structure, storage, RAM, GPU memory and the operation you are running. We would rather you benchmarked it on your own data than trusted a number we picked.
Deliverables
What leaves the building

- Best-fit plane snapping on picked points, with a configurable search radius
- Labels pinned in the scene and moved for a readable layout
- Named measurements, organised into groups that persist with the project
- Professional PDF measurement reports with names, kinds, values and grouping
Files and documents
- LAS 1.2, 1.3 and 1.4, LAZ, E57 and PLY, with attribute review before export
- Source scale, offset, VLR and format preserved where full-fidelity export applies
- WKT coordinate-reference information preserved, omitted or supplied
- E57 scan name, description and selectable data fields
- DXF section points and linework, per section or merged with a layer each
- GLB and OBJ meshes, with companion material data where applicable

Who it's for
Built for the people who have to deliver from the scan
Anyone who has to turn point-cloud observations into measurements, CAD sections, reports or meshes.
Land survey and geospatial
Clean the registered cloud, read levels off the ground surface, cut the sections your drawing needs, and hand back LAS or DXF.
Laser scanning and reality capture
Bring multi-scan E57 in with its metadata and images intact, register the subsets, and issue the deliverable from one project.
Construction verification and as-built
Compare what was built against the IFC reference model, section a floor plate, and record the dimensions that settle the argument.
Architecture, engineering and BIM
Work from a measured record of the building as it stands, mesh the surfaces you need for the model, and export GLB or OBJ.
Industrial inspection
Detect a plane, check perpendicular deviation across it, measure clearances in dense pipework, and report it as a PDF.
Heritage, forensics and documentation
Keep a full-fidelity record, take dimensions from it years later, and produce printable output straight from the project.

Questions
Asked before buying
How large a project can it handle?
It is designed for very large and multi-billion-point project totals, using 64-bit point counts, out-of-core storage and chunked GPU rendering rather than trying to hold everything in memory at once. What you get in practice depends on your dataset structure, storage, RAM, GPU memory and the operation you are running – which is why there is a benchmark built in, so you can measure it on your own data instead of taking our word for it.
Will it change my original files?
No. Cleanup, transforms and registration are computed as results you can preview, and are held as project edit state until you choose to bake them. Cleanup operations create new subsets rather than overwriting the input, undo and redo cover supported operations, and your source file is left exactly as the scanner wrote it.
Can it register scans, or do I need another tool first?
It registers them. Pick a fixed reference subset and one or more moving subsets, run a global search with configurable roll, pitch and yaw ranges followed by multi-level refinement, and read the per-subset result table – status, RMS, overlap, confidence, translation and rotation – before you apply anything. Accuracy depends on your source quality, overlap and configuration, so validate the result as you would with any registration.
What about IFC – can I edit the model?
No, and it does not pretend to. IFC comes in as reference geometry: tessellated for display so you can see the design intent alongside the scan in the same workspace, for visual comparison and context. It is not an IFC authoring or editing tool.
Is the VR support usable, or a checkbox?
It is a real OpenXR session with rendering, preview and near-dense detail handling built for it. It is optional, and it needs a compatible OpenXR runtime and headset – so treat it as something you enable if you already have the hardware, not a reason to buy any.
How many machines can I use one licence on?
A licence is one seat – one person working at a time, on whichever machine they are sitting at. Sign in on a different computer and the seat moves with you; sign out to free it for a colleague. Buy as many licences as you need under one account, in any mix of terms.
Can I download it today?
Not yet – it is in final testing and downloads open at launch. Create an account now and we will email you the moment the installer is available.
